  1. Rinse and soak the chana dal in water for about 30 minutes..

  4. Add the chopped spinach leaves along with grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chilli and salt. Combine well..
  5. Heat oil in a  pan over medium heat. Shape this bhaji vada mixture into round balls and flatten them by lightly pressing using your palm.
  6. Deep fry the vada till crisp and golden from both the sides..
  7. Bhaji vada is ready..
