- Put the water in a casserole dish(large one and uncovered). Boil in a microwave on high for 5-6 mins..
- Add the noodles, salt and 1 tsp oil. Cook on high for 3 minutes. Stir and then again for 3 minutes until almost cooked(instant noodles take less time)..
- Stand for 10 minutes. Drain off the water and pour clean water over the noodles to remove stickiness. Add 1 tsp oil, toss well to separate noodles..
- Take 3 tablespoons of oil in a large casserole dish and add Basil leaves. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Take the leaves out of oil and keep aside..
- Add tofu or paneer pieces to the same oil and saute on high for 2 minutes. Take out and set aside..
- Take the remaining 3 tablespoons of oil in the casserole dish. Heat on high for 1 minute. Add the garlic and chillies and, saute on high for 1 minute..
