- Wash and chop all the vegetables finely..
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add chopped onions..
- After the onions are sauteed to a golden brown colour,add chopped ginger and saute for 30 seconds..
- Add chopped spinach leaves,methi leaves,carrot,tomato and chana dal..
- Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well..
- Add 1-1 1/2 cup water and mix..
- Close the lid of the cooker and pressure cook for 10-15 minutes..
- After the steam is released,open the cooker and mash the sai bhaji with a hand masher..
- Heat ghee in a tadka pan and add asafoetida,garlic and 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and put a tadka on the bhaji.
