It forms a staple part of the local cuisine and is considered a rich source of nutrition due to its mix of various greens. Ingredients of Sai bhaji

Sai Bhaji is protein packed vitamins rich dish which can be accompanied by any bread or rice. A melange of veggies like spinach leaves, dill, sorrel and brinjal, this main dish recipe is ideal for buffets, dinner or parties. Sai bhaji step by step

  1. Wash and chop spinach finely..
  2. Wash and soak chana dal for two hours..
  3. Chop all veggies in a vessel..
  4. Add all ingredients..
  5. Pressure cook for 15 mins..
  6. Once cooled,mix well and mash it..
  7. Heat oil in a pan..
  8. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for one mins..
  9. Add in the spinach and chana dal and mix well..
  10. Serve hot with chapaties..
